Our first release, Edgar Allan Poe’s The Tell-Tale Heart, is designed specifically for 7th and 8th-grade classrooms and encourages students to actively engage with the original text in a format that feels familiar and exciting.

This video is for demonstration purposes only. The video is reader-paced. Each reader will control the speed at which they experience the story. This also includes selecting when the music and sound effects play.

Reel Story is not a video adaptation. Students are actively reading texts that include moving images, sounds, and music to bring the story to life. We are dedicated to enticing children to read in a format that feels familiar to the technology they enjoy every day. We call it stealth learning.

Each Reel Story will have an accompanying teacher-developed Lesson Plan.
